The Springfield Rifles Football Club was founded in 1969. Since then the club has earned a solid reputation in the New England Rugby Union. One of the oldest running clubs in the United States, the Rifles celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2004. With a great mix of veterans and rookies, the team continues to grow.
